E. Jakarta PMI will Form Regional Coordinator of Monthly Fund

East Jakarta Indonesia Red-Cross (PMI) will form regional coordinator (korwil) for implementation of PMI's monthly fund. It will not involve bureaucrat and only cooperate with private side.

The coordinator will eventually be in charge to coordinate and support the implementation held by Jakarta Provincial's committee

"In city level, there will only be regional coordinator, and monthly fund implementation is handed over to PMI and private entrepreneur. The coordinator will eventually be in charge to coordinate and support the implementation held by Jakarta Provincial's committee," Head of East Jakarta Indonesia Red-Cross (PMI), Koesnoto said, after he met with East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana, Wednesday (9/9).

The Mayor Bambang Musyawardhana hopes, citizens would participate in the monthly fund. "Because the fund result will be handed to relieve citizens burden that are impacted by disaster and needed the help, not for PMI," he expressed.

PMI to Set Up Healthcare Posts in Kalideres

Regarding the promote of non cash transaction program, he uttered, the system is run thus social aid received could be right on target.

"Eventually, there will only be one bank account that is in provincial level not in East Jakarta. There will also be no PMI coupons as the Governor does not approve it," he closed.
